Darnells Limited were appointed to carry out the supply, installation and commissioning of complete plumbing and mechanical services to this high quality new build house.

This included the supply, installation and commissioning of a complete Ground Source Heat Pump system, underfloor heating system, boosted domestic hot and cold water services, bathroom installations, above ground drainage and rainwater services.
Darnells Limited were appointed by  a private client who wanted a company with a proven track record to undertake the installation of new mechanical and plumbing services to their  holiday property in southern Ireland. 

Darnells' work included the supply and installation of bathroom sanitary ware of the highest standard available as well as the installation of a renewable energy heat source to provide heating through both traditional radiators and underfloor heating.

Darnells Limited were employed to design and manufacture a bespoke packaged plant room that was fabricated off site and craned into position at a later date.  The structure comprised welded steel beams wrapped in galvanised steel, the outer layers consisted of thermal insulation and cedar wood planks.  The roof was of a similar construction but finished with asphalt.

The plant room was designed to serve the college's new kitchens and existing dining hall.

Darnells also carried out the mechanical services to the new kitchens which comprised large ventilation systems, including canopies, heating, domestic services and cast iron soils and wastes.

Darnells Limited were pleased to carry out the mechanical installation for the extension and rendering at St Thomas of Canterbury Church. 

Our works included a new gas fired heating system, underfloor heating throughout both the new extension and the existing church and all services to the new WC and kitchen areas.
Darnells Limited were pleased to carry out the design and installation of the mechanical services installation for the entire specialist complex on behalf of Badby Park Critical Care Nursing Home.

Our works included gas fired condensing boiler plant serving the heating system, ventilation system and hot water system. The heating system comprised of a mixture of under floor heating and low surface temperature radiators. The hot water system was designed to provide vast quantities of hot water without storage to meet the high intermittent demands. Other services included a ventilation system including heat recovery, a fire suppression system, Soils and waste systems, sanitary ware and specialist sanitary ware for the assisted bathrooms.

Darnells were pleased to be appointed directly by the Church Diocese to undertake the installation of the new heating system in North Oxford's oldest church. 

The heating system comprised both underfloor heating and re-using the church's old cast iron radiators to supplement it.  The work also included the compete refurbishment of the basement/crypt boiler room. 

When working in the historic building particular care had to be taken when moving pews and lifting/re-laying the old oak flooring.
