Darnells provides you with a complete service, from initial consultation, to system design and project completion.
We are involved in the design and installation of heating and cooling, space heating and ventilation, including specialist applications, full air conditioning and comfort cooling. Fully automated control systems with sophisticated design criteria are employed to their full potential in our projects.
Heating
Darnells is fully conversant with all types of fuel and their current regulations. Our industrial and commercial heating installations vary from wet heating systems using a wide choice of highly efficient condensing boilers and controls, to warm air heating utilising the full range of available types of heaters and including direct fire air heating.
Concerned with climate change, Darnells has also led the way using energy renewable sources having carried out design, supply and installation of solar panels and ground source heat recovery systems.
Air conditioning
In response to the increasing number of projects demanding air conditioning and comfort cooling, Darnells has developed complete design packages sufficient to meet clients’ needs.
Ventilation
When supplying ventilation systems Darnells can install pre-designed sytems or assess the needs required by the client and design a system accordingly, whether it be for a kitchen extract system or full supply and extract pool ventilation system.
Maintenance
All installations carried out by Darnells are covered by a 12 month warranty for materials and workmanship. A service contract can be implemented after the warranty period, which can be extended to cover installations not carried out by Darnells.
Company history
Darnells plumbing and heating services to Oxford go back as far as 1947 when Albert Darnell formed the foundation on which the company now stands.
Orginally concentrating on the domestic market over many years the companys reputation has exceed all expections. Darnells continues to carry out domestic work but also works in the commercial and industrial sector, all whilst still remaining a family run firm, now in its third generation.
In 1947 Darnells work was concentrated around Oxford city centre with some engineers using bicycles as transport. Times have now changed and whilst generally covering a 60-mile radius of Oxford, Darnells has travelled as far a field as southern Ireland to carry out work a large refurbishment contract.
